Chotard Lake is located in western Mississippi, about 25 miles northwest of Vicksburg. To reach the lake, take Highway 61 North from Vicksburg, then turn left onto Eagle Lake Road. Follow the and continue along the levee road for several miles until you reach Chotard Lake. The road follows the Mississippi River levee and is mostly gravel, so drive with care, especially after rain.
